First she just eyed it...

but it didn't take long before she dove right in...

I am not sure how she could breathe with cake up her nose and I was still "digging" it out the next morning!

My Sweet Ella Girl,

Ever since I was little I dreamt of having you. I always wanted a little girl to call my own. The moment you were placed in my arms you completed me. You were the beginning and the end of a new chapter in my life. You bring out the girly side in me that I had suppressed for so long for fear of never having one like you. While I was pregnant we formed a beautiful unbreakable bond as I would wrap my arms around you and pray for your safe arrival. Your birth was the most surreal experience of my entire life. The moment you were pulled from my swollen belly I have felt encompassed by such peace and it hasn’t stopped. You are more beautiful than I imagined you could be. When I stare into your big brown eyes I see such strength and determination. You are becoming everything I hoped you would be. Today as we celebrate your 1st birthday I wish so many things for you. You are my final miracle, the one I wasn’t suppose to have, and not a day will ever go by that I will not be grateful you are here. My heart swells to immeasurable size just at speaking your name. Sweet Ella I love you so very much. You are my daughter, the little girl from my dreams and I am so unbelievably humbled by the gift of you.

48 hours..

In less than 48 hours my sweet girl will be 1 years old and I will officially never have another "baby" again. I really am o.k. with it because she'll always be my baby but I think last night she knew that her momma wanted some extra snuggle time and she let me rock her to sleep once again. Maybe just maybe she'll let me do it again tonight...

Where's Ella?

Ella has started hiding. Most likely I can assume it is from her brother. She has yet to scare me because there are only so many places she can get to that's not already on lock down. The other day I was calling, "Ellie where are you" and she was quiet as could be. I looked and looked and finally found her here..

Pasta Mama

My little sister Ashley was nickname "Pasta Mama" when she was a baby and I think my sweet girl is well on her way to having it be her new name. She loves pasta and it's one of the few table foods that she loves.

Yeah! It's finally done and I'm now headed to bed because I'm so very tired of this stinkin science fair project ...

I hate laundry. Actually I despise it. It is NEVERENDING! To relieve some of my bitterness toward this chore I have enlisted it as a "family" chore. I dump all the clean laundry and then it is everyone's job to fold and put it away. So with that said here's my cute story for the day.

I look up and see Jake carrying my bra and only my bra up the stairs.

"Jake what are you doing"
"Momma I go put your boobies away"

Oh Lord..he may just have made laundry time fun again!

American Idol..

I think she definately should have been included in the top 12 and just because we have yet to know her singing abilities her clothes are surely "idol" material!

Maybe we'll start with Baby Idol first...
