I'm selfish...

Today my sweet girl is 11 months old. I just want her to stay little..at least for a little bit longer. She is so unbelievably kissable and sweet. I am so grateful and lucky to call her mine...

It's Official..

While I admit that I have become quite good at building things like this..

has a daughter that has learned to scale furniture..

I would much prefer them to climb in...

smell a whole lot of ...
be outside in...
under a whole lot of blue...
running with no shoes in...
rather than inside playing in the sink with..
Instead I wanna see their pale cheeks colored oh so sweetly by the warm...
So it's official I'm sick and tired of all of this..

Setting Precedence...

Daddy was sure gonna make sure that his sweet girl got something for her 1st Valentine's Day and surprised her with a new "love". However, can you still see who's in the picture?

I was feeding Ella this morning when I hear this sweet voice say-

"Momma I'm ready to go"
"Ok. Jake where are we going?"
"Momma I go firestation"
"Ok buddy just a few more minutes and we'll get ready to go"
"No Momma I ready to GO!"

I turn around and yes he had indeed gotten himself ready to go....

Who needs pants anyways!

Yet another "milestone"..

I finally got to put "pigtales" in my sweet girl's hair!

She was such an angel and left them in all day!

On another note-I found Jake trying to be like momma

and I think he's gonna kill me when he finds out that when he didn't have any clean underwear left, I put him in Ella's diaper cover

My Apology...

I've been in a blogging funk and I have tried several times to upload pictures and have just plain given up. I will try again later but I did want to apologize for not posting as usual. And because Nonnie knows what crazy faces my girl can make I thought you would enjoy this one. So with my sincerest apologies here's a sweet fish kiss from my girl...

I promise a long post ful of pics is coming very soon but Mom this ones for you. Who knew that I would finally have a reason to make BOWS! We can't wait to do our 1st craft show and we are busy making all kinds - and I could care less if any sell we're just having a ball.

All the while I just sit back and watch it all happen. Sometimes I think exhaustion is so understated. Oh well, the tree miraculously is still standing, most ornaments intact and all the gifts under the tree are unbreakable. I may be tired but I'm not stupid!

Benefits..

My heart skips a beat everytime I hear "working structure fire" and I worry not only for my husband but all the firefighters who run into burning buildings. But if I can find any benefit at all to my husband being a firefighter it's that my firetruck obbsessed little boy gets to go on them whenever he wants. Jake has been in, on and on top of the fire trucks probably a hundred times but never has he been on one while it was moving. This past weekend he was in the Christmas parade and got to "drive" Santa through town! He was so excited when the truck started moving that his mouth never closed. However, now I'm in trouble:

Me- "Jake what is Santa going to bring you for Christmas?"
Jake-"Firetruck, a BIGGIE one, Jake drive it!"
Me-"Jake the firetruck will be too big to fit in your room"
Jake-"Momma need it, put the fire out!"

Leaving the bay-I will probably be posting this same picture 18 years from now when is actually driving one!
