We found a "free" field and it was time to play our Memorial Day Tourney! Here's a group shot before the fun began...

We pulled out all the stops this year with "Event" staff and

Even an old "Pro" showed up! Next year we wanna see the retired shorts!

something funny was goin on with the batting order because this boy was up to bat a whole lot-we need to review the books

and this one? Well he was keeping score and had my camera now I have about

15 pictures of her butt so now the game is up for review!

Oh well, all in all we had a AWESOME time and we only ended up with....

ONE FATALITY!

She's a beauty...

I am still very tired but it is soo worth it. We finally finished up the outside and I love it. Here's a few pics but it will look even better when all the flowers start to bloom. We also have some reseeding to do in the lawn and add some large stones. We have a little more to work to do on the other side of the house and when we're done I'll post pics.

Just when I thought that the Science Fair would be the death of me came...The Hall of Heroes Project! I will now officially admit that I would do 10 science fair projects free of charge to anyone who needed one in exchange for this project. Austin has chosen to be Henry Ford, not a bad choice by any means, but along with his choice comes a refrigerator box that needs to be replicated into something from Henry Ford's past. I am opting to give you a before picture just in case this project "does me in" so you can all see first hand the reason for my demise...

will be made into none other than a replica of Henry Ford's Rouge Factory Plant complete with a "green" roof...

Oh well this weather is always a good excuse for a little dress up...

Caught..

I love watching from afar and catching the kids doing things then grabbing my camera and hurrying back to snap pictures without them knowing. The other night I caught Jake cooking. He has cooked with me for so long that I am not surprised he wants to do it on his own. I thought it was so cute that he even put on the oven mitt. I love watching them roleplay and seeing their little imaginations at work. However I do wonder what's going through his sweet little mind...

I am assuming that after he checked it, it wasn't quite done..

but back in the oven it went!

Now who wants to be the one to tell him plastic can't go in the oven?
