48 hours..

In less than 48 hours my sweet girl will be 1 years old and I will officially never have another "baby" again. I really am o.k. with it because she'll always be my baby but I think last night she knew that her momma wanted some extra snuggle time and she let me rock her to sleep once again. Maybe just maybe she'll let me do it again tonight...

Where's Ella?

Ella has started hiding. Most likely I can assume it is from her brother. She has yet to scare me because there are only so many places she can get to that's not already on lock down. The other day I was calling, "Ellie where are you" and she was quiet as could be. I looked and looked and finally found her here..

Pasta Mama

My little sister Ashley was nickname "Pasta Mama" when she was a baby and I think my sweet girl is well on her way to having it be her new name. She loves pasta and it's one of the few table foods that she loves.

and she points at everything..I think it is so cute

she makes this face when she sees things she likes..
I thought she was doing so good feeding herself until I saw the pile of spaghetti in her lap!

It's in the history books...

Yeah! It's finally done and I'm now headed to bed because I'm so very tired of this stinkin science fair project ...

I hate laundry. Actually I despise it. It is NEVERENDING! To relieve some of my bitterness toward this chore I have enlisted it as a "family" chore. I dump all the clean laundry and then it is everyone's job to fold and put it away. So with that said here's my cute story for the day.

I look up and see Jake carrying my bra and only my bra up the stairs.

"Jake what are you doing"
"Momma I go put your boobies away"

Oh Lord..he may just have made laundry time fun again!

American Idol..

I think she definately should have been included in the top 12 and just because we have yet to know her singing abilities her clothes are surely "idol" material!

Maybe we'll start with Baby Idol first...

How can you not wanna just kiss these sweet cheeks..

I'm selfish...

Today my sweet girl is 11 months old. I just want her to stay little..at least for a little bit longer. She is so unbelievably kissable and sweet. I am so grateful and lucky to call her mine...

While I admit that I have become quite good at building things like this..

has a daughter that has learned to scale furniture..

I would much prefer them to climb in...

smell a whole lot of ...
be outside in...
under a whole lot of blue...
running with no shoes in...
rather than inside playing in the sink with..
Instead I wanna see their pale cheeks colored oh so sweetly by the warm...
So it's official I'm sick and tired of all of this..

Daddy was sure gonna make sure that his sweet girl got something for her 1st Valentine's Day and surprised her with a new "love". However, can you still see who's in the picture?

I was feeding Ella this morning when I hear this sweet voice say-

"Momma I'm ready to go"
"Ok. Jake where are we going?"
"Momma I go firestation"
"Ok buddy just a few more minutes and we'll get ready to go"
"No Momma I ready to GO!"

I turn around and yes he had indeed gotten himself ready to go....

Yet another "milestone"..

I finally got to put "pigtales" in my sweet girl's hair!

She was such an angel and left them in all day!

and I think he's gonna kill me when he finds out that when he didn't have any clean underwear left, I put him in Ella's diaper cover
